Our story
The map we wish every parent had
Indian youth sport comes with no instruction manual. We are a small team trying to write one, clear, honest, and built around the parent doing the work.
Why we exist
The system assumes you already know how it works
Every parent starts in the same place. Which sport suits your child. Which academy is worth the fees. When trials happen, who runs them, and what a district tournament actually requires. The answers exist, scattered across federation PDFs, WhatsApp groups, and whoever happens to be standing next to you at the ground.
Nobody has written it down for you. So you guess, you ask around, and you hope the person you asked knew more than you did.
We started PowerMySport because that is a poor way to make decisions about a child's decade.

We'll tell you the discouraging version
Most kids will not go pro, not every academy is worth its fees, and some sports cost more than families expect. A plan that only tells you good news is not a plan.

Sourced, or we don't say it
Selection rules, entry criteria and calendars come from federations and official sources, and we say where each one came from. When we do not know, we say that too.

Written for the parent, not the athlete
You are the one comparing academies, paying the fees and driving at 5am. The product is written for the person doing that work.
The obvious question
So what's the catch?
There isn't one, and this is the honest accounting.
The roadmap, the pathway guides and the guidance are free, and they are how you find out whether we are worth trusting at all. Charging for them would mean asking you to pay before you can tell.
Later, we intend to charge for the parts where we genuinely save you effort, bookings, gear, and helping academies and coaches reach the families looking for them. When that arrives, it will be obvious which part you are paying for.
Your child's data
Built around a child, carefully
A dependent profile exists to make their plan better, and for nothing else.
A child is never the account holder
Under Indian law a child is anyone under 18. They can only be represented here through a dependent profile that you create, control and consent on behalf of.
No profiling, no ad targeting
We do not use a dependent profile's data for behavioural tracking, profiling or targeted advertising.
It stays yours
You can ask for access to what we hold about you or your dependent, have it corrected, or have it deleted.

Who's building this
A small team, building in the open
Three engineers in Mullanpur, Punjab, who got tired of watching families guess. We are not a sports institution and we do not pretend to be, what we do is read the federation documents nobody else will, talk to coaches and parents, and turn what we learn into something you can act on in ten minutes.
