Follow these steps in order. Starting early gives your child a significant advantage — many spots fill fast.

   Create a free account at universaltennis.com and generate your UTR ID — this is all you need to participate in basic UTR events.

   Play tracked matches at UTR-sanctioned clubs, academies, or UTR events to establish your rating (minimum 3 results needed for an official UTR rating).

   Browse upcoming UTR events in India at universaltennis.com/events or the UTR mobile app.

4. 4

   Register for your chosen event directly through the UTR platform — no external portal or state association needed.

5. 5

   After each match, results are submitted by the tournament organiser and your UTR updates automatically within 48 hours.

Prepare these before the tournament entry deadline — missing documents result in rejection.
