What happens next on the Boys Under-12 list

A new result last counted about 7 months ago. Over the past year the total rose in 1 week, by 11 points on average.

The top 500 needs 27.5 points, 16.5 more than your child has now. At the rate they have gained points over the past year, that is about 18 months of the same form.

Based on 52 published lists between 18 Aug 2025 and 21 Sept 2026.

What a rank opens and closes

Junior tournaments in India run in levels, easiest first:

1. 1.Talent Series , the entry level, where most players start
2. 2.Championship Series , the next step up, run state by state
3. 3.Super Series , national-level events, harder to get into
4. 4.National Series , the level below the national championships
5. 5.Nationals , the national championships
6. 6.ITF Junior , international junior events

Here is the part that surprises most parents: a better rank closes the entry level. Once a player is inside the top 75 of their age group, AITA no longer lets them enter Talent Series. Those draws are kept for players still working their way up. Every other level stays open.
